What this site knows about you, and what it does not
Last updated 2026-10-28. This policy is for bestcurlingwands.com and its brand subdomains.
The only address we hold
If you email [email protected], we get your address and whatever you wrote. It sits in the inbox so we can reply and fix whatever you flagged, and that is the only reason we keep it. Ask us to delete the thread and we will.
Server logs, kept for security
Our host records standard request logs — IP address, browser type, time, page requested. These exist to spot abuse and keep the site running, not to build a profile of you. They age out on the host's normal schedule.
Your catalog choices stay in your browser
When you filter or pick a wand type, that preference is saved with localStorage in your own browser. It never travels to our servers, we cannot read it, and clearing your browser data wipes it.
California residents
We do not sell personal information as the CCPA defines selling. There is no data broker on the other end of this site. If you want to know what we hold on you, or want it erased, email [email protected] and say so.
Children and this site
This site is written for adults shopping for hair tools and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you believe a child has emailed us, write in and we will remove it.
Asking us to delete something
Send a request to [email protected] with enough detail for us to find the record — the email address you used, roughly when you wrote. We will confirm once it is gone.
Visit counts
This site loads Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are opened. A short notice on the site explains that. Google’s own policy covers that processing. We do not receive your name from it.
